About

Hi there. My name is Matt Lardie and I love food; I love to grow it, cook it, eat it, and learn about it. I believe in sustainable, local food that nourishes not only myself but my community and my environment as well. Green Eats Blog chronicles my journey through the world of sustainable food and all that it encompasses; farmers, food artisans, trends, and lots and lots of cooking. You’ll find recipes, events, and news as well as commentary and a healthy dose of sarcasm.

Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions, concerns, or comments – matt@greeneatsblog.com.

I like your blog and enjoy reading your obsession with cookbooks and of course – sustainable agriculture – and common sense!!
Green eats is key and doing it local keeps it healthy … and brings economy back to people – they need jobs and it can build local businesses and to restore local farming – and the land.
    Way to go.. keep blogging.

I am so proud of you big brother! This is awesome. Although I could never eat 90% of the things you cook because mom and dad tainted my palette with boring bland food, I love looking at all your pictures and crazy concoctions! Don’t forget about me when you’re famous. Love you!
